Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta was mixed, starting with lengthy check-in issues and being bombarded with timeshare presentations. However, the beautiful hotel and friendly staff made up for some frustrations, especially when I found fantastic dining experiences like at Havana Moon. Overall, while the appeal of the resort is high, the not-so-great management practices and aggressive sales tactics left me feeling skeptical about a return visit.
I had a tremendous time at The Grand Mayan, enjoying the expansive hotel and beautiful views from my room. The comfortable bed made my stay even more pleasant, though I faced some challenges, particularly with the room's view and check-in process. Overall, the dining options were good, especially the breakfast at Cafe de Lago. 🏖️🍽️
My stay at The Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta was both enjoyable and frustrating. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and featuring impressive amenities like multiple pools and a lazy river. However, the aggressive timeshare sales tactics during check-in created a stressful beginning to my vacation. While I loved my spacious room with a plunge pool, I couldn't overlook the challenges with the check-in process and service delays.
The Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta offers stunning grounds and a beautiful beach, making for a picturesque stay. However, the service can be intrusive with relentless timeshare pitches, and my room experiences were marred by cleanliness issues and unwelcome pest encounters. Dining options were average at best, with some meals being overpriced for the quality provided.
My stay at The Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta was a mix of highs and lows. The lush surroundings and beautiful beaches were a highlight, with the service from staff like Miroslava and Viridianna being a standout. However, I faced significant issues with room changes and persistent pest problems that really detracted from my experience. While I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the enjoyable entertainment, the aggressive sales tactics and management's response to my concerns were frustrating.
